And I agreed with the fact Annie posted.......your defense/excuse/labeling irrelevant the failures of Republicans is what caused this mess.

was there something other than "Bush did it" that you stated? I may have missed it. Is that the "fact"?

Being the optimist, let me try this one other way: How is "Bush did it" pertinent to the current situation of Obama and Congress adding jobs in an economic downturn?

In an attempt to answer Annie.....Bush grew the size of govt/spent recklessly, so has Obama. This Dem Congress is guilty of the same, just like the last Rep. Congress.....Now why is this relevant? Because to simply just vote out Dems will not change a thing, imo. Both parties have proven identical on fiscal issues the past decade. IMO, we need to put immigration, amnesty, abortion, etc on the back burner and work on fiscal issures. Neither party is doing that.

Looks like you have misconstrued what I have said and what Jake has said and are determined to tell us that it is you who know what we mean. Such is often the case when attempting to discuss with you. Congratulations! You have once again steered a topic into a irrelevant off topic discussion. You have exercised your pointing finger and are in fine shape for those personal accusation.

Time for me to cease abetting.................

By having a problem with me pointing out a fact about the previous adm......... I had no problem with you stating that under the current adm/Congress that govt would not shrink. I simply state the same could be said about the previous adm/Republican Congress.......Both are true statements, end of story in my book......But you and jake seem to have a problem with facts, if they involve Republicans.

If you follow national politics then you would realize your statement is a fallacy. There is a reason many have been attracted to the Tea Parties’ fiscal concerns. Because of grass root activists like this, a change is taking place in much of the Republican party, and eventually if successful, in some of the Democrat party as well. Unfortunately for you, you’re still stuck in 06 and have failed to see this.

If the Tea Party is concerned about fiscal issues, why are they backing Hayworth? McCain, along with Coburn, are the most fiscally conservative Senators that have ever served. McCain was against Prescritption Drugs for Seniors(because it was unfunded and added to the national debt)while Hayworth supported it......

It’s my understanding they didn’t back Hayworth. And the Tea Party is not one group acting in concert.

True, Bush did grow government. I find it interesting that you did not mention Clinton until I pointed out that the growing of government jobs began with Clinton and not Bush. Before you jump and accuse me of being a partisan hack again, I say that because you limited your finger pointing to Bush.

Note that I never denied that Bush grew government. I said that the situation was entirely different economically then and bares little to no semblance to now. It appears you took this as an excuse for Bush, which it was not, and that making such a statement painted me a a partisan hack. So be it.

Too bad it took all the prodding for you to provide your reasons for "Bush did it". I do not agree with all your logic but at least you finally gave your thoughts as to why you thought your accusation was pertinent to the discussion.

I am saying the Tea Party is backing Hayworth right now, and is trying to defeat McCain.........If you know something different, please enlighten me.

Tea parties hold out on J.D. Hayworth

By ANDY BARR | 3/1/10 5:05 PM EDT

The leaders of Arizona’s four largest tea parties announced Monday they’re not endorsing in the state’s Senate race, a blow to the movement’s supposed darling, former Republican Rep. J.D. Hayworth.
